Kim G for Model Number JBP69B0D1BB I Replaced my lower heating element last year but now the oven says it is preheated but it is not getting as hot as it says it is and things are taking way tooooo long to get done... so I am assuming that is the thermostat this time? Thank you Kim
Answer Hello Kim. Check and see if the element is good on the unit. It should read closed for continuity. If it is bad, it will cause the issue. Bad wiring will cause it also. If good, either the sensor or the board may be the issue. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
