Tommy for Model Number JBP79W0B4WW I replaced my bake element with WB44T10011. It looks exactly the same as the old element and was an easy install. I did encounter a problem though and that is the holes on the metal plate in back for the retaining screws don't line up with the original oven holes. It's a couple mm off and I can't tighten everything back, as the retaining screws won't line up. What's the solution? Can i just leave the screws out?
Answer Tommy, there should be enough spacing to be able to move the element around to be able to line the mounting bracket to the cabin. As the new element heats up, it will season and settle into place as the original was. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, October 7, 2019
