Kenneith H for Model Number GE Slide in Range Mod no. JGSP40AET1AA I am installing an oven door hinge, left side. When I took the old hinge out of the range, the oven door spring spring came with it. My question is - how/where do I attach the "other" end of the spring. Do I have to remove any panels on the range? Thanks in advance for your help.
Answer Kenneth, You may have to remove the side panel. But try removing the storage drawer, first. There should be holes or a clip, to attach the end of the spring to the lower frame assembly.
