Silkfur for Model Number SF387PEYB6 My Whirlpool gas oven takes over 40 minutes to preheat. I checked and I can see it glow as soon as I turn the oven on. I checked the broil and it also glowed as soon as I turned it on and then the flames came. As for the oven, I can see it glowing but then I smell gas, it takes awhile but eventually gets to the temp of 350, with occasional bursts of gas I presume. The burners on top work fine. I need to try to fix this myself, I cant afford the astronomical fees of the repairman. I have never repaired anything, but need to learn for survival at this time. :) Help!
