Morty for Model Number JGBP30BEA6WH My oven works fine but my broil and self clean does not work. What part would be needed to fix this. Does the oven and broiler take different igniters? Also where could I find written installation instructions.
Answer Hello Morty, This model does use the same ignitor WB2X9154 for the broil and the bake burners. This part will cause the issue you have described but the sensor WB21X5301 and the control WB27K10143 could also cause this. I would test the sensor for about 1100 ohms of resistance at about 70°F while tapping on it in case the problem is intermittent. If this tests good, the ignitor is next suspect.
