Lary for Model Number JGRP20BEJBB I have a wall oven not warming up. Do you have any content of how to replace the igniter for a wall oven? I can't find any specific content about this but it looks similar to the video you have posted (but not exact) which leaves me a bit hesitant about the repair. Thank you for your help!
Answer Lary, with the power turned off to the wall oven, the oven racks would need to be removed. Once the oven racks are removed, there will be two screws in the back of the floor panel that would need to be taken out. From there, the floor panel will lift up at the back, slide slightly towards the rear panel, and then the entire floor panel should lift up and out. The original ignitor, once removed from the burner, will need to have the wires cut about 1" from the ignitor. The wires would then need to be stripped by about the same length as the new ignitor's bared wires. There should be two ceramic wire nuts that came with the new ignitor that would need to be used to secure the ignitor wires to the original wires. Read More...
