Evelyn A. I have a Maytag gas range. The ignitor on one of the top burners keeps clicking constantly. I have to unplug the range inorder to use the rest of the burners. How can I disconnect the ignitor on the bad one.
Answer Hello Evelyn. You do not need to disconnect the igniter, you need to replace the spark module on the unit. If the igniter is disconnected, it will still send power through the wire and can possibly short out. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, December 7, 2011
