Drk for Model Number WB2x9154 I got the reflector assembly removed, and online instructions say to "remove ignitor from burner assembly by removing two screws near the rear". However, they are actually two hex bolts that are completely inaccessible. I looked to see how the burner assembly comes out, thinking that would facilitate the removal of the ignitor, but that seems to be attached with two equally inaccessible hex screws. How do you take EITHER the ignitor or the burner out??
Answer Hello Drk. After the flame spreader is removed, you can remove the hex screws with a small socket and wrench from the burner bracket. These are a little tight to remove, but with a small wrench and socket, can be done. Also, some technicians use a box end wrench to remove them, with the ratcheting action. Once the screws are removed, you can replace the igniter WB2X9154. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, December 27, 2011
