Candice for Model Number JGBP34WEL2WW THANK YOU FOR TAKING MY QUESTION,WHICH IS WHERE IS THE IGNITER ON THIS STOVE LOCATED? WE HAVE LOOKED EVERYWHERE AND CANNOT FIND WHERE IT IS. WE ARE ASUMMING WE NEED A NEW IGNITER SINCE WHEN THE OVEN IS TURNED ON THERE IS NO HEAT, BUT THE BURNERS WORK FINE AS DOES THE BROILER .
Answer Candice, You're pretty much on track, you most likely have a weak bake burner igniter WB2X9154. You'll need to, turn power off and turn th gas supply off to the range. Open or remove the oven door, and oven racks, remove the oven bottom panel, and you should have access to the flame spreader and igniter, at that point. Remove the flsame spreader from the top of the burner tube, remove the two screws holding the igniter bracket to the the mounting bracket on the burner, and reverse the procedure to install the new part. Good Luck and Thanks Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, February 10, 2012
