Kevin for Model Number JGBP35BEA5BB The oven is not working for my GE Spectra suddenly. It's approximately 8 - 9 years old. The broiler works fine (glows read and lights) and the stove top burners work okay too. The oven wont light or allow gas to flow suddenly. What do I need to replace?
Answer Hello Kevin, You will want to do an amp draw on the oven ignitor. The amp draw should be between 3.2 and 3.6 amps. You will also want to check the oven safety valve to make sure that it is good. You should do a resistance check on the safety valve and should have approximately 216 ohms resistance. Read More...
