Renato for Model Number JGRS14GEP1BG I'm working on the above oven model GEJGRS14GEP1BG, when you turn on the oven there's no error code that shows (no F-1, F-2, or any F- error code) but the igniter doesnt even turn-on nor the terminal on the control board for the sensor has no voltage reading even tho' the sensor is normal. Is this a control control board malfunction?
Answer Renato, Are you sure the igniter is in tact and not cracked or broken ? WB2X9154. There is no voltage on the oven sensor connector on the ERC, it is a resistance circuit, and shouldn't have a reading until a temperature programmed. What you do need to do is program a bake cycle and temperature and check for 120 VAC from the "BK" terminal on the back of the ERC to chassis ground, with the wire disconnected. If you have the voltage then the igniter or wire from the ERC is broken. No voltage, Faulty ERC relay and will need the ERC/Clock. Good Luck and Thanks Read More...
