Vincent for Model Number GSD2100N10BB I replaced the panel front long part number AP3189711 on my GE dishwasher. After replacing all the screws connected to the inner door liner, I found out two of the screws were of a different thread. two screws with smaller thread were supposed to be installed at the bottom of the inner door liner. unfortunately I did not realize the difference in the screws, the screw heads look alike. only one thin threaded screw was put in correctly. the other hole has one of the wider thread screws. Please advise why the screws are different and if this will cause me a problem and if so a suggested remedy. I can no longer switch out the screw since the bottom hole is now slightly larger and will not tighten the thin thread screw anymore. Thanks Vince
Answer Hello Vincent. As long as the screws are secured it should be fine. The fine threads are for the hinge brackets. If they will not secure, you will need to replace the screws with some that will secure. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, August 20, 2015
