Sam for Model Number gtwn4950l0ws My washer will not fill with hot or warm water when selected. Everything else works fine. Hoses are hooked up correctly. I replaced the valve, thinking it was a solenoid failing, but nothing has changed. If you shut off cold water valve, it will sometimes let hot water through for a few seconds and then make an electrical noise. Could it he a faulty probe sensor? Or is it insanely possible I received a defective valve? I guess another possibility is the control board?!? Thanks!
Answer Sam, If there is only warm water flowing into the unit then the most likely cause would be the sensor WH12X10410. If there is no water at all running into the unit then test the valve to make sure that there is 120 vac getting to it and if there is then the issue will be a faulty valve. Read More...
