Gary for Model Number GTWN4250D1WS My washer will only agitate slowly as if it is in the delicate cycle no matter what cycle is chosen. If the cycle is changed, it will agitate fast then drain. Other than that, no other issues. I changed the control board but did not help?
Answer Gary, you will want to check to ensure that the belt is tight and does not have excessive play. Once that is verified, you will then want to check the agitator and agitator coupler to make sure that there aren't any broken or bad "teeth" that could cause the agitator to slip during agitation. Once that is verified, you will want to look at the motor assembly itself and verify that the control on it is operating properly.
