Chipper B for Model Number GTUP240EM5WW Washer appears to pump out correctly at the end of each cycle, but next load still has residue (soap suds, dye, softener, or what every was used previously). The onset of this problem seemed to be sudden. Rinse cycle has lots of suds, even when no soap is used for the current wash. Any ideas? Does this unit have a drain checkvalve that could be back leaking? Does the drain pump prevent drain water that is in the elevated waste hose from gravity feeding back into the wash basin? The water is very soft. The drain hose is direct clamped to the drain pipe -- no vacuum breaker.
Answer Chipper, It would be a good idea to run the unit with no clothes in it with a washer cleaner as there may be soap build up causing the issue with the suds. Also check to make sure that the unit is filling up in the rinse cycle. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, June 28, 2017
