Rhoda for Model Number WCVH6800J2WW I always clean any water left in the gasket after I am thru with my wash. I normally just leave a small rag at the bottom of the gasket to catch any water that may drip down. I noticed today that the small rag was wetter than it should have been after being their overnight. I started to run a load and water began pouring out from the bottom of the door. I shut it down, threw down quite a few towels, and checked the gasket. I don't see any issues and have never had any before. I ran a drain & spin cycle with a few pieces that were in the load to see what would happen. No water leaked from the door during this cycle and I could see the water inside the door. Not a drop came from under the door. I do have a pump filter that will not tighten. I notices after the drain & sprin cycle that water was draining from the pump filter. Don't see cracks on the filter and the black ring on the pump filter seems to be intact. I will check the area where the pump filter goes to see if there are any cracks. Never an issue with this machine (5 yrs old). Thanks for any info you can give.
Answer Rhoda, Based on this information it does sound like the pump housing may be cracked and causing the leaking issue. This is something that you would want to check. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, May 21, 2014
