Ge Dishwasher for Model Number GE Potscrubber Dishwasher I've removed the old pump seal. The shaft is fairly rusted/corroded (~0.5 mm thick gone) near the motor side. Will a new pump seal still work? Or do I need to replace the entire motor? Obviously, I prefer to only replace the $20 parts Vs a $130 motor, but I don't want to have to do this again in a year. Any chance the new seal can work? If it helps any, I would be glad to send a picture of the shaft. Thanks!
