Rh for Model Number GE GSD4030Z07WW Have basically fixed my non-draining unit by replacing check valve assembly and piston assembly but in the course of troubleshooting cannot get the cutter re-installed back on the shaft. How does one do that? Which side goes on the shaft and what direction to turn? Seems like it always falls off.
Answer Hi RH. The impeller assembly WD19X10032 is threaded on, it is a left hand thread. Honestly, most people are unable to get this part off due to the age and the part being rusted on, makes it almost impossible to remove. Usually, the entire assembly is purchased.
