Fritcr for Model Number DPGT750EC1PL My dryer will not "wake up" It has been doing this for the past year or so. We can usually beat on it or unplug it wait a bit then plug it back in then press the power button quickly and get it to work. Sometimes the washer will send the info over and that will wake it up but not always. I have checked the CN10 for 120v and it does have it. I have also checked the pins 3 and 7 on the main board and have 5v there. I do not have 5v at pins 1 and 3 on the ribbon from the front panel though. I have bought a used main board and control board (touch screen thing) Neither have made a difference at all. Now it is dead and will not "wake" no matter what I do. Can you tell me if need this board or what to check to make sure of what I need to order? I understand I can send it back but I'm not sure I want to spend another $300 on this dryer.
Answer Fritcr, This issue would be caused by a faulty LCD power display assembly. With it not coming on at all it indicates that it is burnt out. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, July 16, 2014
