Frank for Model Number Wpgt9350c0ww I Ave a ge profile harmony washer. It doesn't always drain on the 2nd cycle. Sometimes it says there is a problem with this unit sometimes it says there is a problem with the pump and provides a test button. When you press test the pump works fine. Usually we take a bucket or two of water from the unit and try again or shut it off and go to spin and drain and it works fine. We had a repairman come out and he said it was the pump b cause when it happened to him he tapp d the pump and it began working. Do he replaced the pump. 2nd load after he left the problem was back. Does not happen on every load. Do you have any suggestions?
Answer Frank, Based on the information it sounds more likely that there would be an issue with the main control board or loose wiring between the board and the pump. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, November 6, 2017
Answer Frank, Presuming there are no obstructions in the tub or drain hose, the first check would be at the wiring harness between the drain pump and the inverter board. Make sure there are no loose connections, frayed wires or damaged loose connections. If all checks OK, then the inverter board would have a problem and will need to be replaced. Read More...
