John M for Model Number JGBP30WEA8WW I am having a problem with the bake burner heating up. I replaced the igniter, still nothing. I took the end of a hammer and tapped on the gas valve and regulator and the gas came on , then went off. The control valve feels warm and the volts ac is 2.3.
Answer Hello John. Based on the information you provided, you have a voltage issue. There should be 3.2 to 3.6 VAC at the safety valve.
