Mo for Model Number gsl25jftabs Fresh food side not cooling, freezer not cooling enough to freeze. Ice make stopped working and frost build up on evap cover. I changed the main control board out and still no change. Evap fan appears to work and also the condenser fan works. Please advise?
Answer Hello Mo. You will need to check the evaporator coils and see if there is frost from the top to the bottom of the evaporator coils. If it is not a full frost on the unit, then you have sealed system failure and will need to have an HVAC tech come and repair the unit. If the entire coils are frozen from top to bottom, then you need to address the defrost issue on the unit. Check the heater and thermostat on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
