Tony I just asked you a question about dryer not shutting off after it runs thru its cycle. I was trying to figure out what the part was that went bad and I didn't ask right. Is it the rotary start switch?
Answer Hello Tony, If the unit continues to run at the end of the cycle and the timer just cycles on around, the centrifugal switch in the motor has stuck. This switch is part of the motor so if cleaning the motor up and getting all of the lint out of the switch area doesn't correct the issue, the main drive motor will have to be replaced. Read More...
