Lisa for Model Number ge dryer Start button fell inside top. Took apart top and put it back through, then pushed in knob. I forgot to unplug the power cord. The wires let out a pop. 2 are a little burn on but no fire occurred. My question is have I ruined the dryer or can it be repaired? Havent checked to see if it starts.
Answer Hello Lisa. You will need to test the switch and see if it is still good. Also, make sure the timer is still good and test for any other damage. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
