Ej for Model Number DX4500EA1WW your answer to same question-Hello Julie! The rotary start switch AP2042901 is a replacement. Judging from the available pictures it seems the switch now only has 2 prongs. Keep in mind this is a replacement suggested from the manufacture and will work on your model DBXR453ET3WW. Thanks! One is a double red wire and the other two are greyish. thanks,
Answer Hi EJ. It does not matter really which terminals you put the 2-grouped together wires on. As long as both reds are on one side and the 2-grayish are on the other terminal. You May need to buy a double terminal adapter that slides on one terminal and has room for two wire connections to hook up to it. Part # TJMA02898-2. The start switch is called a momentary switch part # WE4X881. Thank You. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, March 2, 2012
