Harvey B. for Model Number DDG7987RALWH I purchased an ignitor that I received yesterday. The instructions indicated thathat I should remove the bracket assembly from dryer. I removed two screws but the assembly does not move. Are there more screws to remove than the two when I opened the door to that area? Thank you
Answer Hello Harvey. GE does not offer any information on removing the burner WE14M104 in this model. According to the instructions, you will remove the igniter bracket assembly by removing 1 hex screw from the dryer, and should not need to remove the burner. Hope this helps. Read More...
