Edy for Model Number DVL223EB4WW My dryer will turn on but not heat we took it apart and found that there was lint everwhere. After cleaning all the lint out I was told that it could be the safety thermostat. Could this be correct?
Answer Hello Edy. Yes, the thermostat WE4X757 should read closed for continuity. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
