Anthony for Model Number GEW9200LW0 Oven is 13vears old. Will heat to temp, then it will drop down well below. Inconsistent temp control. Do I need to install a new temp sensor, never been done.?
Answer Anthony, The oven having irregular temps then the sensor would be the most likely cause. You can test the sensor for 1090 ohms at room temp and then check it at 350 and the resistance should be 1654 ohms. The ratio should be for every 1 degree of temperature rise should be 2 ohms of resistance. If not registering properly then this will be a sensor issue. Read More...
