Jaime for Model Number Highpoint ECO28BMR My microwave/convection oven turns on by itself when the door is closed. I have been told this is due to the motherboard. Does this make sense? Do you have the part available?
Answer Jaime, typically, there is a micro door switch that has failed, if you can find a tech sheet somewhere inside the Mw, it should show the position of the switches, how they are mounted and whether they are naturally open or closed.
