Peggy for Model Number PSI23MGMBBB How do I get the front cover off of the ice/water touchscreen to replace the ice maker assembly and spring? The entire section looks like one piece instead of like in the videos. Do I need to unscrew anything regarding the light bulb area or just know where the tabs are to insert the putty knife to release the front cover. I have the model where I could put in wood inserts to match my cabinets above and below the ice/water dispenser touch screen area.
Answer Peggy, to remove the dispenser user interface, there will be three little divots under the display that can be used to press up on the lock tab securing the display to the housing while the refrigerator power supply cord is unplugged. This will allow the display to rotate out from the bottom so that the dispenser housing can be accessed to remove it.
