Leon for Model Number PSC23SGPASS I purchased the AP4413586 ice stripper. The first issue I noticed is that the part looks different. The part I received included a tab on the back that looks like it keeps the stripper a certain distance from the ice machine. The part I removed from the ice maker does not have that same tab. After installation (simple, thanks to your videos) I noticed that the part of the ice maker that spins to actually get the ice out was hitting, bending, and getting hung up on the arms of the stripper. It was happening with the two arms on the left most side of the ice maker looking at it as it sits in the freezer -- the two wide ones, not the skinny one on the far left. The part I was replacing had both those arms broken, so I'm wondering if I have a problem with my ice maker iteself, or at least the arm that rotates. I ended up using a Dremel to trim those down but I'm thinking I may have a more serious issues. Any advice?
Answer Leon, This issue sounds like the stripper arm that rotates would be faulty and would need to replace the icemaker. You can try with the part dremmeled but may be necessary for a new icemaker. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, April 29, 2015
