Linda K. for Model Number GE model jbp24g h3 electric stove I have determined I need a AP2021559 surface unit receptacle. I cannot see how to get the stove top up to do the repair. It doesn't seem to lift up like the one in your video. Does it have screws or something? Thanks.
Answer Hello Linda, There are only a couple of ways that the main tops are ever attached. Some have three or four screws going up into the front edge of the main top that are visible only when you open the door. Some have spring clips which have to be depressed with a paint scraper as slight pressure is applied upward on each side respectively. Others are only setting there.
