Rachel for Model Number wsre5260d0ww

My washer will fill, agitate and appears to drain, but won't spin. I performed the field device test and the washer will spin when in test mode. If I place it back in rinse mode, it will then pump out a bunch more water. The error code says that it "flood" and "slow pump". I've read information stating the washer will not go into spin mode if it does not empty. I tested the pressure hose and it is patent. Before I spend money on a pump and/or a pressure switch, I wanted to know your opinion.

Hello Rachel, It is not uncommon for these pumps WH23X10030 to fail and I would say that replacing the pump will most likely cure your issue. It is also possible that you could have a build-up of lint and debris that could be causing issues. You will see this when you change the pump. Be aware that if you do find debris in the pump area it normally builds up instead of being pumped out because of the weak pump.
