Ana Hi! My washer wont stop filling as well, and as recommended in the Q & A I ran the test to find out if is the pressure switch or the valve. In my case is the switch and I want to buy it and replace it my self. My question is: Is replacing the switch something I should take to an expert or is something easy that I can do my self? Thanks!
Answer Hi. Depending on the model, remove the top or the back control panel. Remove the pressure switch hose and make sure it does not fall down into the chassis during the pressure switch part # WH12X10378 change. Unclasp the electrical connector. Unlatch the switch holder tab and turn the switch approx. 30 ° to remove it. Replace it and make sure the pressure switch holder tab is locked in place against the inner frame. After replacement fill the unit in a small wash. Advance the unit into a final spin and let it run itself out of time to "reset" the pressure switch. Thank You. Read More...
