Jessica for Model Number WHRE5550K2WW My WHRE5550K2WW washer fills, agitates during the wash cycle and drains just fine, but after the water drains, the pump keeps pumping and it never switches to the rinse cycle. It won't rinse or spin, the whole washer just shuts off after the water drains out and it pump drains for a few minutes. We've replaced the Control board and the Lid switch and it still has the same problem. I've tried several times to reset the motor by unplugging and opening/closing the lid, and it doesn't help. The LED beneath the inverter cover blinks normally, so we tried out the Technical Service Guide tonight and we found one error: Position 2(Soak LED On) - Slow Pump Error. It gives this description: If the pressure switch does not reset (closed/empty tub) within 3 minutes of the control starting the drain pump, the slow pump error will be recorded. Does this mean the Pressure switch needs to be replaced? Thank you.
Answer Hello Jessica. Yes, either the air chamber or pressure hose is clogged on the unit or the pressure switch is bad and will need to be replaced. Check the camber and pressure hose before replacing the pressure switch. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, June 27, 2014
