Sal for Model Number GE Model TFX25PPBE WW I have a side by side GE refrigerator. The compressor doesn't always come on. This is noticeable as the ice cubes starts to melt in the freezer section. To get the compressor running, i tap on the temperature control located in the fresh food section and the compressor will come on. This happens repeatedly. Therefore, my guess is that i have an intermittent temperature control problem. However, given that the temperature control, part # WR9X599 is discontinued, is there something else that can be causing this problem ?
