Cape C. for Model Number GE JBP 23 Received part quickly. Since my old block was badly corroded the screws/clips where wire was attached broke. Can I put new clips on end of the wires? Also where does the "contact" part go? At the rear... where wires attach? What do I do with the white "card" piece packed with mine? Thanks.
Answer Hi Cape. Yes , new clips will work great. They will be best soldered if possible. You can use a crimp tool and work as well as long as you only strip enough wire to insert the stripped portion fully into the crimp terminal end. Then use the tool to fold (Crimp) the open end onto the wire correctly. The crimp tool is part # MA-30428. Insulated Female terminals 3/16" is part # TJMA03018-1. Insulated female terminals 1/4" is part # TJMA02588-1. The card is not shown on our breakdown. Was there installation instructions @ this card? Possibly it was only used so the packaging /shipping would "rigid" the package for shipping purposes. Thank You. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, June 14, 2012
