Al for Model Number JSP47G002BG GENERAL ELECTRIC I'm replacing the stove top recepticles #WB17X5051. I'm replacing the wires on the recepticles also, which are now all black. The new Hi-Temp wires are Black, White and Red. I have installed the Black & White wires, but have not connected them to the receptacle block, which has four metal blades/prongs that one wire mounts to each each blade. Can you help me with the order the wiring goes? I tried to find out which side of the terminal was positive by using an ohmmeter, but I got a spark so I stoped? Can you help me with this problem?
Answer Hello Al. Black is 120 volts, red is 120 volts and white is common. L1 is black, L2 is red, and COM is white. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, June 19, 2013
