Robin for Model Number JP326W0V2WW Hi. This is a surface stovetop. I need to replace two terminal blocks. In the video you use a regular stove/oven for the demo. On mine the wires go inside a panel on the stovetop that has the huge electrical wire for the stove connected to it. I am handy but am a little nervous about working around that much electricity as i have heard that sometimes some of the current can remain in the wire after the breaker is turned off. Is it 100% safe for me to disconnect the panel with the main power source connected to it? And do you have a video tutorial for surface stovetop terminal block replacement? Lastly, do I need to buy 4 of these and replace them all, or can I order the two that are burnt out by the color of the wire? At $32 a piece plus the two elements I can almost buy a new stove. ;)
Answer Hello Robin. You can simply cut the wires from the old part and the new part and splice them back together. You do not have to try removing them. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, October 25, 2016
