David for Model Number jvm2070sh01 Was using the timer function to time baking in the oven below the microwave, not the microwave itself, when I checked on it the entire unit was dead. No lights, nothing. Checked power to the unit and it's good. Checked the two 20 amp fuses and they are good. Thinking the heat from the stove may have triped a thermostat I checked and found one in the lower part of the unit that tested open on multimeter test. It's listed in the critical parts list that came with the microwave as GE part number WB27X1127. It looks like the one you show as WB27X10195 but I don't want to order the wrong part. I can't really tell form the diagram which one it is (the unit has 4 different thermostats). The part has "NT101 and KIE " stamped on the face between the two prongs. Help?
Answer David, There are two TCO's That don't reset automatically, in your microwave. The hood TCO WB27X10194 which is located near the base of the microwave, in the area of the fan assembly. And the cavity TCO WB27X10195 which is located on the top of the microwave cavity. Based on your post, it seems like you need the hood TCO. Thanks and Good Luck Read More...
