James for Model Number DPSB613ED1WW My GE dryer (DPSB613ED1WW takes twice as long to dry clothes now. Vent has been cleaned completely. Fan works, strong air flow to outside. Both heat elements test fine, no breaks. Tested the part WE4M216 at room temp. which has continuity. And, when heated in fry pan, it seems to open at 120F (rated at 135F-10) and closes at approx 95F. The inside heating element (coil) maybe shutting off in few minutes... is this the problem? Thanks
Answer Hello James, the inner and outer heater elements are both controlled by relays on the main control board, likely the relay for the inner heater element is failing, the control board is part WE4M296. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, March 22, 2021
