David for Model Number GTDX200GM1WW Dryer runs on heated dry for 15 minutes then cuts off. Will restart shortly after that. If ran on no heat dry, it runs entire cycle. Replaced cycling thermostat on heating element, but not on blower discharge. Could this be the issue or does this sound like a motor issue?
Answer David, it sounds like the unit is overheating and it would be recommended that the dryer ducts, including what runs from the wall to the outside of the building, be cleaned as clogged vents are a common cause for this failure.
