Mark for Model Number ge drsr495eg5ww dryer works on timed cycle but will not heat up on any of the sensor cycles. would the problem be the bias thermostat ?
Answer Hello Mark. It sounds like the timer might be defective. You can test the thermostats with a multi meter MA-DM1. They should read close for continuity. Here is a link you can refer to for help with using a multi meter: http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html . Hope this helps!
