Lintilla, The quickest and easies test, disconnect the dryer exhaust vent pipe from the back of the dryer. with the dryer empty and set for an auto advance cycle, start the dryer and let it run 15 to 20 minutes, then check to see if the timer dial has advanced. The most common problem with this style dryer is a clogged or restricted exhaust vent system. if the air flow is incorrect, the timer will not advance. Good Luck.
