Lfc for Model Number GE TDX9SNYAWH Hi, I'm ordering thermostat WR09X10040 from you to replace defective one on my GE refrig. Does it come with wiring instructions? The previous repairman unplugged most of the wires from the old on and I want to make sure I wire up the new one correctly. Also, what's the easiest way to remove the plastic sleeve from long thermo couple wire of the old unit so I can transfer( slide it on ) the new unit? Thanks!
Answer LFC, The wiring diagram only shows 2 wires going to the unit. The green wire will go to the silver terminal on the side of the thermostat. There should also be a blue and brown wire in which they will go across from each other on the inner 2 terminals. The sleeve you just pull straight off and slide on.
