Ann Ackerman for Model Number WBB2090F1WW I ordered parts 6,7, and 8 to repair the knob on my GE washer. But I found that the gear that part #8 was supposed to connect to had teeth that were worn so now the knob slips. Do I need a new timer, part 100 (AP3873828) in order to fix this or can I just get a new gear piece? Also, can I return the compression ring that I ordered but didn't need?
Answer Ann, If the gear around the timer is damaged then you would have to replace the timer of the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, March 13, 2017
