Hello Brian, the video is a general guide,this washer model has a timer where the timer shaft has a groove in it near the front end and the knob has a slotted rear tube where a plastic clip that goes over the rear of the knob shaft and sits in the timer shaft groove, , you have to gently pull outward on the knob and push back on the front control panel same time and use a small screwdriver or needle-nose pliers and pull the clip off and the knob will slide off.
