Tracy for Model Number WNXR2100t2ww Curious. If I can't get the knob on, can I use needlenose pliers to turn the inside rotator thing to start the water and then pull it to start the process!!!!??? I need to be able to do wash and I took off the knob thinking it would be easy to "slide and lock on" and now I can't get it back on. Will elotrocute myself and/or is there any downside? Thank you! Tracy
Answer Hello Tracy. The downside is that you could damage the shaft of the timer. It would be best to replace the knob before using. To replace the timer knob, you will need to use a needle nose pliers to pull out the knob retainer, then the knob will come right out. Take the new timer knob insert the retainer on the groves of the knob and push it on the timer shaft until it snaps on place. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Sunday, March 20, 2011
