Neil for Model Number WHDRR418G2WW I have a Ge washer with two Problems. A timer was ordered because the washer wasn't going through the cycles. The replacement I got was ERWH12X10348. This timer came with a mounting plate that's preventing me from mounting the knob its not allowing the shaft to extend enough. The other problem is the washer motor is still humming after the cycle is done and the machine is off. I looked at the inside of the harness and saw that some of the pins looked a bit scorched can this be causing the machine the motor to hum when it should be off
Answer Neil, This is the correct timer and it sounds like you may not be getting it slid into the slots that hold it properly. As for the burnt connectors, yes this could be causing the issue that you are having with the motor humming in the off position but also check the wiring of the unit. Read More...
