Jim O for Model Number DPSR610GG9WT While my wife was turning the temp control knob, it shorted and fell into the control panel. The knob fell into her hand. The dryer still heats but I presume it is on whatever setting she probably had. She is still using the dryer without temp control. Is this safe and would the problem be the Temp switch? Is this something I can do?
Answer Hello Jim. If the part fell into the unit, I would advise replacing the temp switch on the unit and do not use it until it has been replaced. You should be able to do the repair yourself. It is not to hard to do. Just make sure you disconnect the power first. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, September 16, 2015
